@bleh whatever he meant deadlifts will strengthen the forearms and deadlift will always be heavier than your bench. But I don't think the issue was the forearms giving out, he just couldn't hold up the weight anymore and dropping it like that was all he could do. If his arms gave out and he didn't let go, he could've hurt his arms bad

When I was younger I ego lifted a few times anyone who says they didn’t is a liar. But I learned a lesson and hurt my back I was out of the gym for 3 months doing 160 pound dumbbell rows, the only dumbbell that day was me LOL

@0:20 Quarter squats are fine if you have limited range of motion due to injury, arthritis, or other reason a full ROM is not possible. It can also be useful if you are working past failure and have already done max atg/half squats and you are just fatiguing the muscles before finishing the workout.

When lifting weights, regardless of free weights of machines, don't some people realize you never cause the weights come to a complete rest during a set of reps; and when finished with a set of reps, you respect the weights, never dropping them like the cup of coffee is too hot to remain in the hands. Weights are your best friends. Treat anything from a dumbbell, kettlebells, barbells, even machines with respect.
