Brace yourself for an action-packed wrenchfest episode! In this episode of project Rottweil, a 2002 BMW E39 530i Touring, we focus on the suspension and brakes. We upgrade the suspension to M Sport, replace all control arms, struts & shocks, wheel bearings, rear ball joint, integral link, air springs, upgrade and refurbish Brembo 4-pot calipers, naturally lots of satisfying before & after shots, and we finish off with beautiful 17" BBS Style 42 wheels.

"took me like 20 minutes to arrange all of this"... Sreten, you have no idea how someone with OCD like myself genuinely appreciates you taking the time to do that. You always take your work and your fans seriously. Great video. And I won't ask how long it took you to do the parts layout at the opening. ✌️❤️

I can't express how happy this series makes me. In november last year I picked up my first BMW, an E39! Orient blue, 6 cilinders, manual and black leather interior. It's not perfect but it's mechanically about 80% right now. Will be using you as inspiration to hopefuly one day get it to 95%+ like you do with yours.

It is everytime incredible for me, that only one man does all the work and the editing at the same, while in germany every car-channel has a dozent of heads in mediateams and deliver not nearly such a good work. keep it up Sreten.

Not all of them have Sreten. I was thinking at the same topics. The amount of work he puts in is just incredible because he was, and I believe still is, buying the projects himself, he is wrenching, filming, editing, researching and ordering parts…I think his channel will be Matt Armstrong / Tavarish audience in less than one year.

I just have to say, I don't comment much on channels but I hope you always continue making videos because I love this channle so freaking much. Its sad to say but you actually ruined other car channels for me lol because it bothers me when I see other youtubers who don't torque or clean up their mess when working. You've set the bar really high and I appreciate every little detail you do like adding this spf coat this. Like nobody does that, Nobody cleans there parts. Love the attention to detail, it is my favorite part about this channel. Thank you sir, will always watch all your videos.

This might be one of my fav episodes of the channel. As a suspension obsessive, the detail is amazing. Anyone else love the inverted rear shocks and geometry of the E39 Touring?! When the E39 came out, I remember a car mag saying something about wishing the fenders were transparent to see the aluminum magic in action. As always, our leader, Mr. Streten, does the good work and meticulous refurbishment needed. Makes me want to step out in the rainy SF night and figure out my screaming wheel bearings and why the left control arm vibrates at 80mph on 280!

I've only recently found your channel and its awesome! Just recently got my first E39 as a daily (after years of E36s) so this series was a great starting point. Mine, too, needs a lot of work, way more than I thought, and if it was any other car I would've been so angry and sold the car already. But for some reason, these are such great cars that I just want to restore it. Frickin BMWs eh. I also really like that you quickly mention important things that (it seems) you've already mentioned in detail in older videos, just in case people haven't seen everything.

I 100% get why you get excited over the vapour blaster. It always makes me smile seeing the before and after shots of the parts you clean in it 😊 My jobs always take longer than expected just because I try to make everything as clean as possibly before re-assembly. This resto has made me think I should probably do the big end bearings on my 275000km E46 but looking the parts up does seem rather a pricey endeavour. Hmm, I wonder if Jeff Bezos has any spare change he could help out with 🤔
