I am very far from happy with the way this was handled. To me, the nurse was quoting from a set script that they are trained from. It's like a parrot quoting chapter and verse. The repetition of the mothers name Mrs Robinson is nice and polite, but all the nurse keeps repeating is that little Mark will be supported all the way through! Supported HOW, yes! She mentioned speech, physio and occupational therapy, but no attempt was made to clarify the way this is done, it was all very polite and superficial, but if I were the mother in this case, I wouldn't be any the wiser after this talk to the nurse, or any more reassured. I'd want to talk to the doctors and the surgeon to find out the true state of affairs.

Also the robotic voices used in these videos, don't convey that it's humans we're dealing with, and not a childrens doll out ofva toy shop.

Thank you for your feedback. I wonder a speaking role play is done to find the candidate’s ability to communicate effectively to the patients, not a dramatic play including emotions.

@@mihiraa And that's just what she's NOT doing. She just keeps repeating the same sentences,over and over again. She's not really trying to reassure the mother, and giving any real information about the child I am not looking for dramatic role play either, but robot or not, that nurse was NOT communicatig effectively with the mother.
