Thanks, joe, your videos are informative and helpful. I have a question here...Is it relevant to mention the date of surgery and fall incidence in the introductory sentence, as the patient is going back to the previous facility, it must be a known incident for them?
@OETSLC2 жыл бұрын
Hi Tani, we are glad you find them useful! Answering your question, if they are returning to the previous facility, medical history including dates would not be relevant. However, if the patient is being admitted due to the current situation - then the date and brief information about the incident (if it is the current one) whether from the previous facility or not, would still be relevant. Ramamurthy for example is admitted to the hospital from the care home with signs and symptoms of pneumonia, however, we will still state that he was admitted with signs and symptoms of pneumonia (as a way of clarifying the patient and the current situation) EVEN THOUGH he is returning to the same facility (and we are writing to the care home manager). For c plus what score should I get in purpose
@OETSLC2 жыл бұрын
Hi, in order to achieve a B in OET Writing, you should aim to score 2 or 3 out of 3 for purpose, as recommended by OET here www.occupationalenglishtest.org/test-information/writing/. We recommend aiming for a 2 or 3 for purpose for a C+ as well as a B. If you want help preparing for your OET exam, click here: specialistlanguagecourses.com/oet-preparation/
