I am very interested in this and like the look. I can't be the only one with this one negative piece of feedback, but any chance of rerecording the female communicating with you on the radio? I feel like she has absolutely no emotion in her words. Everything sounds like it is being read directly off a script without any enunciation/emphasis/etc. Just monotoned delivery. It isn't the accent. I'm southern. I have no qualms about the accent. The delivery though absolutely needs work, and maybe some of the lines could benefit from rewrite as well. The whole thing around 16:20... Rough. Then again around 18:40... Weird abrupt change asking what he is. Then her line about knowing each other for ages. Idk.

The current version is an early playtest with AI-generated voices. The final game will feature reorganized dialogue, specifically recorded by professional voice actors. At the moment, some parts of the dialogue are final, while others are not, which explains the abrupt changes you mentioned.

It's becoming clearer and clearer to me that mobile processors actually WILL be able to bring standalone VR to high end PC levels. After seeing the Quest 3 Graphics update for Behemoth and now this- It's just and matter of time. Imagine if the Quest 3 came with eye tracking and dynamic foviated rendering from the start. We'd almost be there now. A lot of PC owners will probably cringe when it happens. Their 3,800.00 dollar PC rigs will suddenly be reduced to old block phones from the 1980's. Resident Evil 4, Metro Awakening, Red Matter 2 and Behemoth are just a few to name.

Might be a good bit before then. Quest 3 standalone compared to an actual beefy gaming pc is a huge huge difference.

Looks like it was at least partly inspired by Halflife Alyx. Which is not a bad thing. The "hit me" sticker in the classroom is simply a childs prank, I suppose

Does it have native index controls and finger tracking? Alot of games don't have native controls for it and you have to use the janky steam vr input stuff and it's annoying

I can't believe he just said that, "There is a PC version and I'm sure it will be a little bit better then the stand alone quest 3". PC is always way better with graphics and performance then the standalone. Graphics look poor, maybe still in beta testing?

Clearly thats a given but not always. Some quest 3 games are exactly like the pcvr version. Not always an upgrade. At the start of the video i say that it is early phases. Pcvr graphics are a bit better on this game if you are wondering…

@@TruGamer4Realz I'm sure there are exceptions to everything but a standalone PC with a dedicated GPU, PC case designed for cooling. 99% of most games will have this type of setup and it will out peform the stand alone quest everytime. I think I bought some games for the quest 3 when it first came out on Meta, then did the same for Steam. Never going back.

Pcvr is definitely the way to go if you can afford it. Most cant. Standalone is a great way to play vr regardless
