Hey Emma, that's great to hear 😊 I'm not sure I'm the best to give advice as i'm self-taught and basically I just learn't by listening too and playing along with a ton of songs I liked, and then a ton of songs I don't really like as well! There are a ton of great music theory and technical advice channels and resources online, so I'd just start playing and look for videos on specifics you are having trouble with, but i think listening to basslines and playing them will with time build up those other needed skills and you start to see common patterns used in song structure etc as you go.
