Exactly, 50% of quests are during night. And those quests are needed for understanding broader narative arc of chapter 1.

You can also read witcher books because firstly it is awsome like the game, secondly, the story of the game witcher 1 was actually started where the books ended and that was so cool for witcher fans to find themselves into the witcher world again. For example you now know why Geralt was running and wounded at the first scene!

1:23:40 it's beautiful in witcher world - very often there is NO good choice, you choose between evil and greater evil, and live in grey instead black and white ;) 2:22:59 You dont remember? It's ghost of witcher-disciple Leo who died in prologue, you know, crosbow and so on :)

I’d never forget Leo! Lol It was the glowy skeleton ghost I was saying was cool, but I didnt know who he was. And looking at him again, he really is so cool! Sometimes in older games you just don’t expect such cool monster designs but I’ve been so pleasantly surprised at the witcher 1!

echinopsae grow in the places where someone died so there're many of them in the cave. and also on the odo's land - one for his brother and one for someone else probably. btw not only there're two boss fights in the area, but also two more "romance" options, hehe.

@@CacophonyandDiscord yep. generally speaking there're alot of these hidden interaction with seemingly random npcs. like that one time you beat the guy in drinking and he gave you a book. people usually ask for a specific gift (food, medium alcohol, a gem or a ring, flowers and so on) and in exchange give you quest information, lore, something expensive, quest item or even a romance card. for example, there's a woman whos will sleep with geralt for some fancy flowers and there's also a woman who will give you these fancy flowers in exchange for some field flowers. things like that.

@@CacophonyandDiscordYep, in TW1 even NPC with not-unique names have time to time some unique lines of dialogue... 1) you could help bartrender girl at night (pack of thugs tried to r*pe and kill her) - escord her to home and have 'nice time' after you bring some wine later 2) and one of women around would be very grateful for some flowers ;) There was also bunch of old grandmas who - for few coins or something nice to eat - will tell you stories about monsters, filling bestiary Nothing game breaking but still nice if you are someone who like to "turn each stone upside down" to look what is there ;)

You missed some stuff, but honestly? Good job for your very first try in a completely blind playthrouhg. I hope to catch you live on Twitch next time you play this game. I recommend you to not waste coins making a steel sword out of anything but 3 red meteorite ores. Blue meteorite ores suck and they aren't worth using even if you find them for free, only giving lackluster critical effects to the sword that you can easily get by just upgrading Geralt's skills and aren't that relevant anyway across the board, while red ones focus on damage, which is the better route for your weapons in this game. A 3 red meteorite sword can easily carry you almost to the end of the game with it's +40% damage and +30% bleeding, so it's a lot of bang for you buck to make one, while the same can't really be said about any other combination of ores when you take everything relevant into consideration (including availability). Not that you really gotta bother about doing the best gameplay/equipment choices like this anyway, as you're on easy mode, but I'm just giving a heads-up in case you do care.

Henry Cavill is a real Witcher fan, but He hasn't enough power to save the series and that's why leave it. The books and games are 10/10, the series 6/10 with all the good will. Tipicall Netflix mentality.... So are there great books and games and so many fans? Perfect! I come and ruined it with my stupid ideas, because CHEES, and I'm Netfilx! 😵‍💫 If You don't know nothing about the Witcher the series is a good fantasy TV show, otherwise a sacrilege. 😓
