While this is close, you should listen to Paralytic Stalks, it blows this out of the water. This is still a surprisingly good album though, as someone who hated Innocence Reaches, and is not a fan of 1980's music in general

Mister Mr fool that you are, you assume I have not been following Kevin for more than 5 years and am more than well versed in his work, and while I agree paralytic stalks is an artistic masterpiece, I think this album has proven to far surpass paralytic stalks in content and conceptual maturity. This musical & compositional style is also less jarring and emotionally raw so I can actually listen to it/show friends without wanting to overdose on acid and revert to primoridial state

I like to think of it more like he is doing spoken word poetry mid-song. Which I guess you could argue is what rapping is at its core anyway. But I think its supposed to sound cutesy and silly not hard or badass or anything like that
