Great video, have caravaned at Albarascin and cycled off road and on road in this area. Epic. We have driven past Teruel many times on our trips down to southern Spain. It can be bleak in winter, often with snow. But it has a beauty and dramatic big skies filled with big birds hunting and surfing the hot air currents above the autovias. Often I dream about cycling the tracks that wind around the hills, and eating hot hearty soups served in the Ventas.

What a beautifully accurate description of the region. I already wish to go back.

Loved the video! I like the video format and the fact that you can use this platform to tell stories beyond Bikepacking, gear and the cycling itself, Belen is doing a great job on her channel as well! I don’t like populated areas so I’m planning on riding Montañas vacias later this year. Cheers from Norway!

I just came back from an extreme bike packing event departing from Burgos in the north and ending in Valencia. We stayed in Teruel, which is a bustling place with 38,000 inhabitants, famous for Jamon and its rich Muslim history. It is also cold. Your portrayal of the smaller villages outside is exactly what I found riding through the region.

That’s an accurate description of Teruel city! A beating heart in what’s otherwise a deserted region. I hope you had a good ride into Valencia!
