Very nice way to explain OFDM! I explained baseband OFDM (as used in ADSL) to a student not knowing anything about modulation, but studying maths. And coding 1000 symbols to complex phasors of 1000 frequencies and just send these tones sounded absolutely logical. Especially since a simple FFT would bring the symbols back. 10 minutes was enough. Explaining am radio would have been harder
