What an album, listening to this is like a spiritual awakening, as a guy who listens to indie folk music/metal I am glad I have given this genre a chance I can honestly fell myself listening more to neofolk moving forward. Dropped this channel a sub too.

There are times you have to just say the hell with it and treat yourself to something beautiful - something that can turn that dark cellar into a room full of light. No one can live in the dark ALL the time... So often it is one small thing that changes the way we feel about everything. Too many of us are so steeped in guilt and never do anything that makes us truly happy. So glad you decided to do something good for yourself.

@@mariamason1919 Thank you very much for your words and especially the time you took to write this meaningful message. But i'll gladly let you know that you (understandably!) misunderstood my statement. My life is full of light due to meaningful things that can't be induced by wealth, as you say. Happiness comes from within. I for now 'suffer' from past decisions to grant my future ex wife's spoiled children their wishes - for example a 10k horse that died within a year at the age of 6 (!). The plan was to sell it after some time, so taking a credit for it seemed to be an okayish idea back then. But on top i underestimated the ongoing costs such as 15 minute doctor visits because of chronic coughing for >200€... In May '24 my 17th & last payment of 750€ will be done :)

track 4 after the storm had a phrase that sounded like some song. a japanese 80's song 'nervous but glamourous' by rebecca. i wonder if they know them. nervous but glamourous has nice and moody synthesizer sound. and the phrase that sings "nervous but glamourous" sounds just like a part of after the storm.
