Off and On, How to practice landings at a top-landing hang gliding site

Oh wow John. I have finished my aerotow training and need to learn foot launching and landing very much. This looks like a great place to do this. I mean to say that I am foot landing now, but more practice in one day for a few days would greatly help learn my technique and also on foot launching and ground handling.

Last time I CROW HOPPED at South Face POTM there weren’t any houses on the north side bench. I once towed up on the bench which had pilots dumping work and coming up only to find that it was cross out of the north.

Best way to get your skills honed for when you need them most 👌👌🇦🇺practice low and you will have no trouble high or inland , worked for me

Last time i flew there. I sat in awe of Jc Brown and larry T and Jim lee .watched them go up thru a flock of scratching hg pilots on the n side and xc gone.

I've been out of hang gliding for a long time. Is everyplace infested with paragliders now?

It does seem that paragliding is taking over as the new easiest way to fly without an airplane. Both have their advantages. The new reality is: more PGs, less HGs. Get used to it. Cheers, John
