Too many people have never seen the butchering of a farm animal and they need to see that it is perfectly natural although not necessarily a pleasant thing... I shared this to my facebook page with comments to help teach and the warning of what they will be seeing... I( grew up in the country where many people had farms and hunted so I was able to experience this a bit at a time and get used to it... and understand the cycle of life, and accept it ... Thank-you... Very well done ... including the choice of music !

Please keep doing your vlogs! They are very well done, even if you wonder if camera angles aren't what you consider 'right.' Thank you for being brave enough to put yourself 'out there,' in public... and, also, please ignore and forgive the uglies that some people feel the need to express. Please don't let th as t discourage you. I have an idea ...in your spare time😃 you could build a sled with removable sides on it to make it easier to carry feed, water, etc. around the property. When the snow is gone you can put wheels on it. Love your videos, I have been binge watching them from the beginning. 🇺🇸❤️🌵

watching from canada, just about to move into winter chores, but enjoying the last days of warm weather. Tthis video, actually has me looking forward to the cosy of scraping the walkway in the morning and bringing in load of wood, and winter feeding of the animals.

We are in our deep winter right now. It has been extremely cold since last thursday. This morning was -42'c and yesterday -40'c. It's suppose to be warming up by Monday. I'm so glad it's passing. It is so hard on everything. I lost one goat kid yesterday, she was about 6 months old and just not thriving much. I found her dead in the barn when she didn't come out to have her evening snack. The snow covering is so beautiful. I'm so thankful we have little chick a dees here in the winter as well. They are such cute little birds. The peach breasted one is spectacular, I don't know what that one is. Your niece is beautiful. That thin ice. Too scary for me!!

Loved the skating as it brought back wonderful memories of skating from early morning till evening out on the lake and in High School skating20 or more miles up w winding river and some not so good memories of falling through and being a human icicle by the time we got back.

Great video. The way I skin the lamb is that I start with hind legs skinning first and then hang the lamb for remaining skinning, that way I do not have to remain bending over for most of the time and less stress on back. Yet another way is truly amazing, I put a very small hole in Hind leg of the lamb and put a small piece of plastic pipe in it and then blow air in it through mouth, the skin pops up and man it sure comes easy to skin the lamb. Love your vlogs
