I have been watching different homesteaders and most really have not shown me things I didn't already know...( i have grown up in the country) but your channel is actually showing me things that are new and make sense. I also love how neat and tidy you keep your homestead. That is something i have not been able to understand some of the channels i have watched the livestock areas are in disrepair and the place is messy. I love that you show that homesteading doesn't have to mean living in a unkempt messy home or farm. Your home reminds me of what i saw on family farms as a kid. Things were neat and tidy and made sense. Nothing like a well kept farm and farm house.

I subscribe to a number of homestead channels and all of them are organized and clean. This one does not impress me at all because they failed to protect the kitchen from insects. If they had planned it better they would have screened in the entire porch. As for the kitchen sink...I am not impressed with this use of plastic tubs for the sinks. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.

That's my dream kitchen, right there! I put up a huge amount of canning every year right in the heat of August and a kitchen like that (ok, maybe not that awesome!) would make the job so much easier. Another thing to add to the project list. My husband will love you for this! ;)

I wish I had that kitchen!!! I would screen around the kitchen though. I know it's better to have freedom with your cooking but the bugs and flies are what I'm thinking about. Just a thought. Those cabinet doors are to die from; you father did a beautiful job.
