I live here in Washington, I am originally from San Antonio, Texas....so I am familiar with parts of Texas....I already have an idea of the location where I'd like to move...My question for you is that...I too have been looking on ebay for land....I have been hesistant because of the scams I have heard about...I was wondering if you had any tips for me as to how I could purchase land from this far of a distance and not get cheated?

Since it is my land. I got it really cheap off ebay, and sold a stove, fridge, washer and some silver to pay for it. I have been collecting seeds, and I almost have all I need. I am also studying the recognition of wild edible plants. I have been doing a lot of research, and I know that this is going to be a very challenging life style change, but I also know that I can no longer continue living within the system. I am going to keep up the research, but any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, My name is Susan. I am living in North Carolina now, but I very recently bought a five acre lot in a dry lake bed near Dell City, Texas. I am planning to move there as soon as I am able, but it will take a lot of money to move down there, and I still have to figure out how I am going to get moved, although I do know it will happen, I just don't know how or when yet. I plan to live in a tent for awhile, just like some homeless people do...but I won't have to worry about getting kicked off

I love when out of staters buy cheap land bring all there crap and leave after a few years.... a lot of body's buried in the west texas desert... quit buying off ebay and moving out here.
