i use haven strike build since week 1, and here is my haven strike build for the assassin. techniques: group vanish critical hit experienced assassin legendary gear: stone striker melee stagger damage staggered damage wind stance forbidden medicine melee stagger damage blast radius assassin unlock melee charm perfect parry window staggered damage impactful throws sticky bomb cooldown reduction on kill blast radius lucky smoke bomb stealth attack damage cooldown reduction on kill munitions the reason I don't use blowgun are : the build it itself doesn't need any stealth attack since you have it on smoke bomb, same for charm. it's enough to kill the big guy with shield with one stab. I know you can do stagger damage with blowgun, but from what I see, it's slow and not effective enough. with forbidden medicine, you can recover your health constantly, you wont be annoyed by poison, and you can interrupt the minions move easily and just kick them until they staggered. bomb pack is also an op weapon to acquire resolve, since we have to blast radius properties, it's very easy to bomb multiple targets, and when you do that, you will have a crazy resolve gain that enough for your haven strike. there are two maps of survival have perfect parry mission, and the counterattack itself is very powerful, if you don't like perfect parry window on your charm, you can just change it to melee damage, but keep that in mind, I don't suggest any more melee stagger damage, cause it won't make any difference in your fight. you can also use other charms as long as it got staggered damage on it. melee charm carries fewer possible properties and easy to reforge. you are dealing with most of the valuable targets with your haven strike after you staggered them. assassination is only used on the targets with shield and can not be thrown. for the small size minions, you can use typhoon kick to throw them even they are carrying a shield(not 100% but definitely can), and with impactful throws perk on your charm, anyone down to the ground is just a dead body to you. you can stagger purple oni with 4 typhoon kick, 2 for normal oni, 3 for oni archer, just be careful with those purple hammer guy, but since it's slow and only has three moves, you can just switch to stone stance and kill it in the normal way. i also didn't use spirit kunai in this build, cause the normal cooldown of smoke bomb is enough, and sure you can use throw dirt and put the perfect parry window on it, and switch to other charms which have stagger damage on it. but I really love the blast radius, it's up to you.

I think mines is more of a balanced assassin/stone striker build. I love the idea of going all in on the resolve with bombs. I'll give it a try! Bomb packs are way too good to give up and I was mostly using it to max the assassination.

@@GooshyG I literally tried every possible formula of haven strike on any class, samurai, assassin, even ronin, for the assassin, consider the minions you encounter in the survival mode, I think my build is more practical. I have tried blowgun even with toxic vanish, and just like I mentioned, it's not that effective and kind of slow, I didn't even bring that you have to aim the right target during the crowded and tense battle. the other issue I want to cover is since you can not one-shot kill the oni with your assassination, I think it should go with a specific target, once your stealth attack can one-shot kill the target, any additional property of this is a waste of limited resource. but still, i respect any work of deep research of the game, carry on and go deeper!

Great work Gooshy. This is my first post to any gaming channel I am happy it’s too some one who eat, sleep and repeat - Games 😊 I voted for ghost but am surprised that it only won one award. Last of us is not a bad game but Its not a mind blowing one to win all. It’s not just but as Jin Sakai said we live and die in honour so we are happy that we are loved by the audience 😊 btw I have a similar build for my assassin in terms of technique but in gears I have the melee charm, forbidden medicine (awesome perk) smoke bomb (lucky) and sticky bomb (lucky) I am at level 92 😊 keep the good work cheers

got 13 master's katana, 17 arrows dont descend bows etc etc etc but zero stone striker. got sick of grinding for nothing so im done w legends for now. i use all the other gear mentioned here for a while now, its a fun build. however i use smoke bomb first (longer cd) then vanish soon after, so kunai helps refresh both cd.

that builds o.k. if you use the healing bomb kit you can consistantly heal yourself in survival while building up your ultimate and if you don't want to sacrifice your chain vanish you can use the assassin charm perk that grants chain vanish ability while still being able to perform 5 slash ultimates. I was using the hysteria perk but everyone doesn't pay attention to the hallucinated enemies and kills them anyways.

This build isn’t focused on using your ult. This focuses on a strong neutral game using heavenly strike. Not saying it’s the best. But it’s fun!!

Hi! thanks for the build!! I really like it so far and manage to optimized it to get the most stealth damage possible. If you have Ronin in your team to cover your health, I found that it's very effective to use impactful throw instead as you can kick away and execute small enemies including that annoying shield captains in Nightmare Survival.

I use stone striker with heavey strike on my ronin since he doesn't have any ultimate that deals damage. There are times when teammates dont need heals so I use my resolve offensively.

I like the build, but the sword stances are limited. You'll struggle against the shields and brutes. The water or moon stance is the better option to have as a sub stance.

Thanks. Yeah Wind stance kicks melts brutes guards pretty quickly. The problem with shield guys is that they push you aside when you try to kick.

@@GooshyG use the moon, the moon stance discomforts the brutes and staggers them too, giving you opportunity to do damages or give a fatal blow. The heavy spinning attack keeps them hidden in their shields, they can't even attack you while you are on moon stance. And this works well against onis when timed well too. Moon over wind, try and see.

The difference between the sneaker industry and the gaming industry is that these game developers are making their games for the next-gen consoles and considering these consoles are not getting into the hands of actual gamers then the developers will eventually start running into problems selling product or be forced to continue developing for last-gen consoles. Hopefully game developers will put pressure on console makers by removing their exclusivity in order to sell more copies of their games unless more is done to get consoles into the hands of actual gamers. It makes no difference to the Walmarts and Best Buys of the world who actually buys the consoles because they just see a unit being sold and are not reliant upon these sales. This is why we must put the pressure further up the chain to make a change. These scalpers are relying on the fact that people will pay whatever it takes to get a console for the holidays. Please make a stand in solidarity to not purchase next-gen consoles or accessories from 3rd party sellers for inflated prices even if it means not getting a new console this holiday season. Otherwise, these scalpers will begin trying to take advantage of our industry and running it into the ground. #PushScalpersOut

Won't the Combat Regeneration take away the assassinating the enemy if you're relying on the healing? I get the spirit kunai should help you manage your cooldowns on the smoke bomb but in nightmare it's a bit difficult to do that right? if you don't use either or just use vanish, it still requires you to disengage from battle which doesn't really help out the party. Perhaps the build is not for me but it still looks interesting. Thanks for sharing :)

Nah you just have to wait a little bit until the last sec of vanish. Smoke will always proc combat regen. I gotta admit, this the best build, but it’s unique and fun. Whatever build you find fun, it’s up to you 😁

Yeah. It’s a little tricky with vanish. Only when you’re cloaked, you regen health. So if you need health, stay invis longer.

Hey i tried using assassin, i built him to chain vanish 3 times. Then smoke bomb, i killed 8 NFC’s in a row and it didn’t rill my resolve bubble . What’s with assasination resolve gains??
