Hope you enjoyed this week of indie game remixes! A few things I wanted to talk about: -I'm going to make a video about this here pretty soon but Kamex and I are doing a series called "Road To Smash" where we choose a character from Smash Bros, either randomly or by voter's choice: and stream EVERY game that they've ever been in. Mainline games, puzzle games, spin-offs, you name it. (Yes, even the horrid Zelda CD-i games). We're about halfway through the Kirby Series and 1/4 of the way through the Zelda series, so please take some time to look at our channel to see if you'd be interested in subscribing! We stream on average about 3 times a week. kzbin.info -With that being said Kamex is in Florida and a hurricane is fast approaching, so it will be like half a week or so before we can stream again. Wish him well! -Some time in the near future I will be adding cheaper commission options for those of you who have wanted to commission me but just couldn't afford it. This includes the return of 8-bit/16-bit (Soundfont) Remixes, Intros, Outros, Jingles, etc. I may even reopen art commissions. I may also do a sale around Christmas or so since commissions have been a bit slow, but no promises. -Not really sure what to do on this channel. I'm sort of at a stalemate atm just waiting for Sword and Shield to come out so I can get inspired to remix again. I was also thinking of trying some game reviews or something but I'm not sure since literally everyone does that nowadays it seems. If you've read this far I appreciate it and if you don't mind, what would you like to see from me that isn't just a music request?

This is actually a pretty common arrangement of Pepper Steak (Not as in the remix itself, but the specific melody of it). It turns out, getting the original feel of Pepper Steak is actually really hard.

OFF is one of the 1st RPG Maker games that has been successful. Even to this day so many people love it.

Uh this isn't true, yume Nikki, which came out in 2004, is the first to be successful, with so I'm, which came out in 2007, being a good second. As much as I love off, it didn't become really popular until the English translation came out in 2012.

Gaminboi2864 no, it's fine, I'm just a nerd when it comes to rpg maker games. But even with off not being as wildly successful as other rpg maker games, it is still one of the early popular ones just not first. Plus it's my personal favorite

How the heck did we get here‽ For anyone who doesn't know, the original song "Pepper Steak" was made and recorded by a band called the Washboard Rhythm Kings in the 1930's. They were quite the enigma as they were relatively unknown then and even moreso now. Then, years later, Good ol' Alias Conrad Coldwood decided Pepper Steak of all songs would be what he'd sample to make the new OFF version of Pepper Steak. And now, a few more years later, we get this great souped up remix of a remix. Oh how far we've come. Insert obligatory OFF reference here.
