I love the PW so much. As much as I love my Tundra, if I had a spare $86k CAD lying around, I'd jump on a PowerWagon right away.

I will keep my Tundra. If you look up YT BUTTER DA GREAT...he shows a video where new TRX have missing and under torqued suspension bolts. I would be totally shocked if you see that with Toyota.
@4x4OffRoadChannel3 жыл бұрын
The Toyota Tundra is a great pickup and very capable off road. I drove a Tundra from 2014 - 2020. We are about 3 months into owning the Power Wagon which will be getting 37s and rock rails so we can push it harder on the trails.
@mikefoehr2353 жыл бұрын
@@4x4OffRoadChannel watch YT CHANNEL BUTTER DA GREAT...TRX has serious build quality deficiencies. IMO does not inspire a lot of confidence in long term quality and reliability. I personally have had enough with GM and Ford...never again. Toyota for me has been the very best...darn close to flawless actually. My 13 Tacoma was more reliable than death.

How’s the KO2s? I can’t decide what I tire I want for my 2020 pw. I’m doing 35s for now but that’s the only part I’ve decided on. Great vids!
@4x4OffRoadChannel3 жыл бұрын
The BFGoodrich KO2's are a great tire. Soft compound with a lot of siping. I am on my 3rd set with 2 different vehicles. The cut resistance is also very good. For all terrain tires the 2 popular choices seem to be the KO2's and the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. With over 100 off road runs on the KO'2 I have not had any issues / flats. With the stock Goodyear Duratracs on the Power Wagon I ended up with a flat on the 2nd mountain run. It sped up the decision to go 35s with KO2's.

I just put 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 2 days ago. Haven’t had a chance to test off-road yet, but I can feel a positive difference on pavement.

35x12.50r17 BFG K02/KM3 are an equivalent to a 295/75r17 tire, an ideal fit on a 8 inch wheel. But for a BFG K02/KM3 315/70r17, and most other 315/70r17 or 35x12.50r17 tires I would recomend a 17x8.5(not nessasary for a 37x12.50r17, because of more sidewall, but a 8.5(for a full width 12.50) would be a better choice if the tire will see mostly pavement, and no serious off roading).

I had to get some aftermarket wheels with small amount of backspacing. I'm in an 06 wagon though. 35's are what that truck is meant for. Rides better, cruises on highway better, make the rock a bit softer
