I made a paint shaker for rattle cans and soak them in hot water before spraying. Could be underlying mental issues but I swear I get better coverage.

Morning SLO! So I keep all my cans warm and I like to paint on warm metal, either by sitting in the sun or I’ll use a torch then wipe it down with brake clean then right to paint. As far as warm paint you’re absolutely on to something, like I said warmed goes a lot farther. Definitely science involved, warm compressed air in the can, creates more pressure for better atomization so the paint sprays flatter, more even and requires less paint for coverage. Just assuming off the top of my head. Spring should be in soon! Can’t wait shoot the wrap up!! Have a good week 👍🏼🙏🏼
