Off-Road Jeep trails. Amazingly gnarly. It was my first time. I could not believe it. And I also cannot believe how we cut through this obstacle course like a warm knife on butter. It was epic. Was a little scary.
The Jeep Wrangler I was in was sooooooo upgraded. He talks about the upgrades on the journey.
This was a very difficult course called Gold Mountain 3N69. I urge all of you to give it a shot because it is definitely something that gets you completely pumped up. #jeep #offroad #goldmountain #bigbear #wrangler #jeeplife #offroading #offroad4x4

I think maybe it's for several reasons we haven't been off-road yet. We are unsure of trails. We don't want to really use the jeep to climb rocks, just mountains 😀. I get anxiety watching these rock climbing at John Bull off-road trail. Not happening. And the jeep is very expensive and we don't want to spend the money to fix something we intentionally broke etc 😑 we are old now so.🤣 and we are retiring in 4 yrs. Gotta take care of shit..stuff 🤣

1:06:20 Well that's just it, there's lots of stuff you can do, but do you "need" it that's the question. Matt's Jeep can do almost anything until you start getting mega gnarly like climbing up a wall so to speak. But even then, when you have a winch you can pull yourself up. But yeah, you can go crazy and buy stuff that isn't even needed persay and someone without that can do the same trails. Let's just say this, Matt can do anything in Big Bear with no problems. People do larger axles, larger tires (37, 40, 42 inch), different brakes, etc. Anyways you get the point. My Jeep is at the point (similar to Matt) where we can do everything we want to do with it.

22:00 --- hahha I'm not sure anything in Big Bear is super dangerous. Well if you go off trail maybe. But all these trails are made for everyone. If you can't get through the "gate keeper" then you shouldn't be on it. That's why there is that gate at the beginning to force the 4x4's to the left. If you look closely on the gate it says 4x4 pointing to the rocks. With all that said awesome video. Can't wait to see more.

Billy, you’re awesome bro I had no idea about the gatekeeper situation or anything like that. I was really glad to learn that that little gate is there with that pile of rocks next to it because if you can’t get through that pile of rocks, then you’re not gonna make it through on the trail and I think that’s a really really cool way to enter the trail.
