Thanks! I love that if it’s just me and my son we can use it like a teardrop, but if we want we can pop the top or add the annex!

A guy down the street built a off rd trailer that looks like a copy. But he put the roof higher and lower floor height. Near same paint job and its on 35s. Really nice rig

Very nice work. I did have one question, if I may. In watching the video where you constructed it, I didn't see you install any edge trim or anything. What stops it from leaking at the seams?

hello dude I ve got a question, it is not a problem the lack of structural rigidity, as it have no metalic frame???

Is it regular fabric sewn together to make the pop up part or did you have it custom made? Is it water proof?
@shaweehillsworkshop42266 жыл бұрын
Joshua Imoe I made it, you will get to see that in an upcoming video. It’s made from waterproof awning material

SHAWИEE HILLS Mainly wondering how you made the pop up hinges? And what is the lid made of?
@shaweehillsworkshop42266 жыл бұрын
Dan T. The best thing to do is probably watch the build video for seeing the hinges operate. The top is just framed in 1x material and the skinned in 1/4” plywood.

I really LOVE all these incredibly amazing if not genius camping hacks and diy gear tricks tips and all the gadgetry that makes camping so much more comfortable and fun but .....where do you go that you can actually set this stuff up without getting ticketed by cops . Unless you go to a paid campsite no one let's you actually SET YOUR GEAR UP . Its really frustrating

If it starts to rain, your tent will fail! Need support in the center.
@shaweehillsworkshop42266 жыл бұрын
True Life are you referring to the pop top portion or the awning room. If you’re referring to the awning room, I think that is obvious. We would never set the awning up in heavy rain or wind so by default the awning room would not. If you’re referring to the popup portion I would love to hear your reasoning as we have had it out in the rain several times now.
