Today as big fan of this channel that I am, I want to give a big shout out to Jesse and his loyal partner Shurastey. Both were heading to Alaska from Ushuaia in a VW Beetle leaving in a rooftop tent and unfortunately lost their lives in a car crash in US. They were living a dream and know their journey is gonna be in the sky! R.I.P Jesse and Shurastey

Hey buddy. I’m a fan. I watch most of your videos from home on my television. Thanks for sharing what you do. I love the trip you made to the Artic from Canada. That was some journey. Thanks for all your tips and experience in this video. Your sprinter van is awesome. The recovery gear is a necessity.

Huge fan. I just read the article from Overland Journal. Very informative. I'm 72 years old and have been off-roading most of my life so seeing your adventures are so inspiring. I know have a 4x4 Sprinter that I have been exploring in for the the last 4 summers. I so enjoy your storytelling, keep up the good work.

Winching. As a firefighter its best to throw a small tarp over the cable and to stand well clear as if it snaps it will come with a lot of force ! Your man there mentions this with using the bag. There are some basic safety rules with winching you should be aware of if using one. On our fire appliances the winch cable was inspected and replaced regularly if there were any imperfections with it. Chad's rope looked well dodgy.

Love your videos, but let make an observation, when your background music plays it's so loud I have to turn down the volume, and when you talk volume back up? It needs to be better balanced? I have noticed this in the last 10 or 15 videos. Volume way out of balance. Keep up the videos love them!

Just wonder if you come across a truly flat situation, i.e. no trees, rocks etc. Would a heavy spike that could be hammered into the ground to provide leverage be any sort of use? Since i've seen occasions where the only thing you have is the road and only light vegetation, here in the UK you're never so far away from help but in your situation it's a very different matter. Excellent video as usual.

Was looking back at this video for future reference. Equipment seems really cool, but not very female friendly😢. What would you recommend prior to this type of equipment being needed? Tires? I have recovery tracks already, but maybe a good tow service will be the best, lol. Then again, pretty sure I won’t be rock climbing! It was cool the way you were able to move the huge rock out of the way, for sure.
