This was definitely my favourite day of our trip and it was a pleasure to be a part of it. It turned out to be a great video with some quality editing and sound effects. The drone footage is insane - what a mental place that is. Ubon is such a beautiful province and that view is breathtaking. In such a chaotic world there's no better way to find some perspective and meaning than by visiting places like this. The ride in the back of the truck on the way back was a real white knuckle one at times and a lot of fun!

early moments of the ride back, we could see the dog following. he knew the way.

Hay Karl, amazing video again :) While i know this is not really your kind of contend, whould you consider making a "a day in the life of karl" video, where you show how you life, maybe your house, etc. when you not traveling? I understand if you dont want to do that for privacy reasons, but i think many of us would be really intrested.

lots of thrills in this one. off the beaten track, but not really. 9:45 panning over the edge, the green patterns in the valley below look like a golf course. my favorite part, believe it or not, is the automated road map start to destination where you were going. that was a longer than usual haul, we saw you hanging on over rough terrain.. I was wishing the map could show elevation changes. as it was, with the signature soundtrack. it left enof for our imaginations to soar.
@karlsthailandАй бұрын
Thanks Donald. I like those fly-throughs because it’s the best way of actually conveying the extent of the whole journey. In all honesty they’re a lot of effort to create but I consider it worthwhile. Cheers

Amazing cliff faces in Thailand. It’s as if they rose out of the ground millions of years ago. On another note…..I heard you talking about a video where you appeared on Nick Deans channel. You were saying it was really funny. Was wondering when that was. I wanted to watch & don’t remember seeing it on his channel. Been watching him since before Covid. Great adventure. Really do enjoy your content.

I did a few things with Nick a few years ago and we both made separate videos of each place we visited. Mine are still up, just go back through my videos and you will find them. The Khao Yai one is hilarious. Cheers

@@karlsthailand Thanks for the reply & look forward to your next video. Btw…..I heard you tell Paddy Doyle that you have visited every province in Thailand & was wondering if you have ever visited Koh Phayam? I was there in late 2021 & it seems to be one of the last islands that are available to the public but not over run with tourists.

Awesome cliff face Karl. I've been doing the same here in Australia exploring crazy escarpments but the night time entertained is of course way better in beautiful Thailand. 😍

I wonder who tips you off and guides you to these extra-ordinary places 🙂 That cliff area had little to no human presence. Not a soul in sight. Just a little bit on the Lao side in the far distance. Excellent video and probably a lot of fun to create the content.
