I have a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder 4WD with AT tires and skid plates but stock otherwise. I have been to Barnwell Mtn but I really didn't do more than the #2 rated trails because I was by myself. Would Lone Star be a good place for me to go try out?

Yes but only in dry conditions. My BFG A/T KO2 did not do well with all that mud and they were a week old.

Good video. Gives you a good lay of the land before going. Looks like a lot of flat dirt roads and mud.

Yeah its more for the mud boggers.. They do have some decent trails that I didn't get video of but not much in the way of technical trails that I went on.

Im planning on fleeing SoCal for DFW. The only thing ill miss is the offroading.

Sucks that it’s closed! Hopefully they will be able to open soon, Grand Prairie is close to home for me!

Yeah right now the only off-road park that's close to DFW is Northwest OHV Park up in Bridgeport

Great video and I really like that you left the ambient sounds rather than overdubbing music! Gives a much greater appreciation of the nature that we encounter when we roll off road! 👍🏼👍🏼

I got a 2wd taco with a lift and mud tires. Think I can handle these trails with that setup?

Are the trails too narrow for an old school Jeep Wagoneer?
