I can't put into words how much I love Denzel's acting.. he's been in so many iconic movies but he's also been in his fair share of stinkers.. he's one of those rare actors though, he can still manage to brilliantly play a role even if the rest of the movie sucks. You know that no matter what, Denzel's performance is going to be an absolute banger. Man. Would love to sit down and pick his brain, I'm a musician but I feel like just listening to him talk about his approach to his art would be completely game changing for me. As I get older I find myself appreciating people more and more who are truly doing the thing they were put on this Earth to do. People who unmistakenly understand what their true purpose is are absolutely fascinating to listen to. Even if it's something extremely niche.

I think Denzel is one of the greatest actors of all time. But he also seems like a genuinely nice person too. I remember a video about Denzel going to a military base, and he was talking to a soldier. The soldier was telling him about some housing being build but they ran short of funds. Denzel ask how much did they need? Soldier said about 14 grand. Denzel literally takes out his checkbook and writes a check then hands it to the soldier on the spot.
