For that starting point line use 5.5 inches on the Bust point, underbust, waistline use 5 for your dart line

Ma please try to be slowing down a bit when you are rushing it you skip something you asked us to do 1. Your back dart where are you taking it from it from the removed zip bulge or from the original zip line 2, all dart remove both from the front and back starting point or should is it supposed to be replaced or not please

I don't understand your question very well. Sorry about the rush, I will try not to rush in my subsequent videos. If I get your questions right, for your waist dart, pls add your dart allowance back, the only place I didn't add my dart was on the over bust (upper chest line). Measure your dart intake on your bust and waist and add it back to your pattern to avoid shortening your measurement. Hope you're cleared Let me know if you understand my explanation Thanks

It is from the removed zipper bulge, please note that there is no zipper allowance added to the pattern, you will have to add it to your fabric

Good evening my dear teacher, thanks a lot for the class. I tried dividing the bust and hip be 2, which was nice, but my confusion is in the joining the back panel to the front panel. I didn't know how to join it considering I remove some inches from front to back and then still added sewing allowance. Pls help a sister out. Then ur skirt class is sooo good. Thanks

OK You shouldn't have any problem joining the two sides together. When drafting your pattern you should make sure the front side seam matches with the back side seam. From this video, my front length was 15.5 and the back length 14 inches, the difference between front and back length is 1.5 inches, I used that 1.5 inches as the bust dart, when I close the bust dart the two sides (front and back) aligned together. Take your time, and watch the video to understand, I will be posting the detailed sewing tutorial very soon. I hope you're cleared Let me know if there's any issue

@@sewstylewithGB ok. I wish I could drop a voice note but then I meant matching them up horizontally since the front width is bigger than the back width. Do I just match them up equally and then sew on the exact allowance I kept for both panels with out having to measure out my measurements before shaping the dress.

@@winifrednwabufo9732 Now I understand what you mean, if you watch my skirt sewing tutorial, you will understand how to join them, you have to note your allowance, if the front is shorter, push one side of the front seam to the back seam and sew, then push the other front seam to match up with the other back seam and sew. Pls, watch the sewing tutorial of the skirt to sew how i joined them

@@winifrednwabufo9732 Pls, don't match them equally and join it, you might shorten the sewing allowance, all you need to do is match the seams one after the other and sew with your sewing allowance just the way I did in that skirt sewing video. Thank you Let me know if you're cleared
