Spent a year in Australia on a teaching exchange with my wife the teacher in 1993. Best year of my life. We came back in 1997 and did the Gibb River Route, took the Indian Pacific to Adelaide and did the mail plane from Port Augusta to Boulia and back. Stopped at 26 outback stations. Australia is a fantastic and beautiful country, there is not one favourite spot, the whole country is my favourite spot. Love your videos, they take me back.

Angie & Chris: Not long ago my son said to me" Dad, you have shown me the world from behind a windshield" . He has lived in the Philippines for 5 months, been to Japan/China/Malaysia/ traversed most of Canada and the U.S. A .Oakley is small and this is when he needs to travel. Many things will stick in his mind over the years. God's speed and may the sunshine always be at your back and the track smooth.

Enjoyed your Gibb series. Places a lot of us could never see on our own. And comfortably too!😉. Can’t wait to see your next adventure. Maybe next time Bowser will have his name proudly displayed. A strip across the top of the windshield, “BOWSER” !!! Or just above the windshield if it’s a vision obstruction. Maybe with a bulldog face next to it !🙃. Anyway, good luck 🍀 with wherever y’all go next. Stay safe and healthy 👍🇺🇸

The snake was a Northern Brown Tree Snake, also known as Night Tiger. It's rear fanged and mildly venomous. It would really have to chew on you to envenomate you. Symptoms for most adults would be headache, fever, and maybe vomiting. Definitely not a python.

Chris use natural rubber tubes and coat inside of casing with baby powder. Half of a large bottle per tyre. Yes i know it sounds weird but it works on 300 mph drag tyre's for massive heat reduction. Cost of the tubes is more money but once you touch them you will understand why they cost more :) Hopefully Oakley has settled down to a nicer sleep schedule and you two have caught up on sleep. Out of curiosity which do you feel is the harder work out your regular routine or fixing a paw on Bowser 😀? Great Gibb trip looks like the lil man is ready for the boat.

It is sad how many people deal with the most basic common courtesy. I understand that many are nervous stopping when somebody's broken down. BUT it's easy enough to slow down and find out from the safety of your own vehicle if they need help. Then you could tell them that you will send help back when you got to town or had cell service. Even if you are not going to stop speeding up is just rude!! Years ago I was in the busy city center where my office is located. It was winter time and my got stuck up against a curb on some ice. People drove past, people walked past and nobody stopped to help. They could easily see me out trying to get unstuck. The only person that stopped, and helped me get out, was a pregnant lady that was 8 months pregnant. She got in the front of my van and pushed it backwards while I pushed back on the door frame while the van was in reverse. I was unstuck in seconds.

What an insperational intro The Vids are really becoming fantastic .Good comment about people flying past when your broken down as well Chris ,just ignorance at its best .My favorite spot used to be Durack station on the river .Homestead no longer their and i think it has now had the gate locked.. The entrance used to be at a place on the old road called Jacks jump up. Oakley is growing fast .Stay safe and looking forward to the next adventure.

G'day folks. Um usual story, I just discovered your channel, but only watched about a minute of it, and have decided I don't like it. I LOVE it.❤ Yeah fair dinkum. Loved it and subscribed.. I saw one of those Unimogs set up for living in, over the ditch here in Nz. Bit of a beast eh??? I think it was more of a promo thing. I guess you've been in Oz long enough to know whether, if I was to come over and hunt up Unimog, do you know if my NZ Licenses will cover me. Classes 1-6. So truck, truck and trailer, B train, semi, etc. For about a year.? Don't think we've got much in the way of rough stuff over here though. Maybe Jollies Pass between Molesworth Station and the Stock Yards in Hanmer Springs.? I see I've got a binge watching to do. Better start watching. Anyway thanks for the upload. Take care.
