You want to know why Cody doesn't want Mac to know that he is his son and Dominique's because he was rejected when he was young. Why do you think him and Dante got in trouble back when they were in summer camp together? Because Dante has a mom and dad that loves him, Cody on the other hand his biological parents Mac and Dominique gave him up to protect him from Leopold Taub. So he was raised by the Bell family. Not only that he lied to Mac out of spite because he was so fixated on the necklace that connects to the Ice Princess diamond which caused him to lose a romantic relationship with the recent departed and deceased Britt Westbourne and since he blackmailed Spinelli to hook him and Britt via "Society Setups" now Sam decided not to hack into Cody's arrest record.

As for todays episode as a whole, Carly and Drew are swoon worthy. But Ava oh I see right through her. By the end of the year, Nina won’t be with Sonny Ava will. Because she knows that Nina betraying Sonny will cost her everything. The SEC has nothing to do with Nina. But she will choose revenge and all that will do is break up Nina and Sonny, Willow disgusted with her again, and Carly becoming Mrs. Drew Quartermaine. :) I can dig it because Gossipy characters are not leads-they’re supporting.

These scenes were fantastic! Okay, okay, maybe once Esme gets out of Spring Ridge, she and Cody could cross paths. That might be interesting to see. Truthfully, he deserves a legacy character HE IS THE MALE SCORPIO! he deserves a Female lead that connects to the cast. Because I don’t see it with Sasha. Maybe Kristina? I dunno she might be too young. I wish Cody were a cop he does not fit the con man at all. And next sweeps let Mac learn he has a son. Just like Kevin deserves to learn --man you guys really screwed that up Esme looks like Willow. Nina had twins yet no twins run in her family- Ryan and Kevin are twins yet Esme was not a twin nor had twins? Just a wasted opportunity to have an umbrella arc that connects the entire cast.

But story wise, with two dead twin siblings, the story cannot progress, it’s just plot driven because originally, Nell was never a twin to begin with. It would’ve opened up more story had Nina’s daughters’ been related to someone else connected to the cast. Your point is correct but without Silas family not even mentioned during the cancer story, it’s just bad plot.

Regarding Nell, I really don't believe the writers when they said they intended from the beginning for Nell to be Nina's daughter. I think the plan was Willow and too many viewers guessed it early on so they changed it to Nell 😂
