I was the coder! Thanks for your showcase of the machine! Nick is an amazing guy and his vision for this machine was mind-blowing. I can't wait to finish the loose ends before working on another box with him! Keep up the good work on your channel!

It looks like an amazing table, and I think many people here would love to see this as an official release. Can't wait to see your next machine, man!

@@churchofsolipsism2716 thanks! We're kicking around a couple ideas but the main priority at this point is completing THPP, thanks!

@LeRevetir Congrats on getting this thing done (and seemingly very solid). This is one of the most impressive homebrews I've ever seen, incredible first effort from both you guys.
@LeRevetir3 ай бұрын
@@nogoodnames222 oh it's far from "done" we had a list of features that needed to be implemented at minimum to preserve the feel and style and I was remotely in the machine an hour before the main show fixing a function error that kept crashing it on replay! Lol, it's been very testing at times but an amazing experience and community, plus working with your best friend on a passion is just so rewarding. We can't wait to finish the edges and really make it shine even brighter than it already is.

This has definitely been made with love by Nick. Thanks for showcasing it

Also, this Nick fella has such a warm and winning personality, his presentation was a joy. I can totally see this as an official machine; I don't know much about Stern Pinball picking up Keith Elwin's Iron Maiden design, but I'd love to see the same happening for this machine.

This is an absolute master letter in making a pinball machine.

So far, from KZbinrs streaming from Expo, this game, Tony Hawk, is the most interesting new pin at the show…

Thank you for getting this game up here! Nick is a great guy and I hope he gets approached by a company this weekend!

This is a great theme for a pin, and an great design. Nice work Nick. I wondered why no major pin producer hasn't pursued the Tony Hawk Pro Skater theme (maybe they have behind the scenes)? Bally Radical was such a cool pin and is still really popular. We really need a modern skating themed pin.

There were rumors of one back in 2000. But yeah, it's crazy this hasn't been done.

Thank you for the interview and showcasing my game! Amazing rig you have, and being able to get the secret tape on camera was awesome! I was so worried I would suck at my own game hahaha

My pleasure all together. It's the easiest thing in the world to suck at pinball, we all know that, but you nailed it.

This is the theme of my childhood. A production run of all the games would be a collection I would dream of owning. I didn’t get to play this game I wish I could! The sounds, the shots, the achievements all bring me back in time. Well done.
@DRI3743 ай бұрын
The sound effects alone from THPS would reel in a billion people. Stern should just put this on the production line as-is. It's built in a Stern cab with Stern mechs.

awesome game, great video!! shame the gameplay footage of the machine in action is the two of you building a mansion out of bricks but it looks like a tough game with tight shots so I can't be too mad about that :P thanks for showing us the game and for interviewing Nick

Amazing super cool homebrew! I love skating and pinball especially well made homebrews from passionate pinball lovers. I think it would be cool to have a quarterpipe ramp that has targets that are horizonal to stop the ball and force it back down like 50-50 stall style or handplant style trick concept. I heard "Turbo" a race car homebrew was recently put together showing up as well which has a cool v8 ball lock that looked interesting. I really was hoping for footage of Harry Potter homebrew from ky1ebasa on pinside as well, his looks soooo impressive like mind blowing. Love the board spin/flip mech on tony hawk and the unique rails too. So amazing what all these homebrew guys come up with.

Just imagine he gets in a deal with one of them big pin ball companies like sterrlin pinball or smth and they make a 1 to 1 replica of this with the right quality instead of 3D print it would be insane and sell like crazy!

That's what we want to see. THPS will have a broad appeal too so it will bring people out of the woodwork to play pinball.

14:50 Skip the yacking and get to the actual subject. You're welcome. P.S. I appreciate the gameplay. This pin has a lot of great touches and the designer is clearly intending to make a love letter to the THPS series. I played the hell out of THPS4. 32:52 so sweet. Very satisfying shot.
