Im gonna be honest, when Joe spoke about how guys get jealous and overbearing I was thinking "oh fuuuuck, this sounds like something I might do". I've never been *in* a relationship per se, but I could imagine being in one for the first time and thinking, "this is awesome, I gotta keep this going for as long as possible" which would morph into some really clingy behavior. I want to believe that if i'm concious of this problem, I can probably stop my insecurities from controlling me, but at the same time I feel like every guy probably goes through some form of an overbearing phase/ relationship, where they end up killing the relationship. I don't know though, I guess I'll hope for the best, and prepare for the worst haha

A relationship is a two way street, gotta think about her emotions too, she's also getting something out of the relationship, it's why she's in it. Also, why would you sell yourself so low, you need to find others things in life that you value that helps boost not only your self esteem, but that also helps you build an identity behind. Having an identity, helps build an ideal that you can strive towards, and that you can nourish to help build your self esteem. I think it's part of the reason, I'm sure there are many other reasons, why athletes seem confident. That sport is an identity for them (only a theory and thought) lol. I'm sure there are other prerequisites to having this be successful, such as the identity having a positive view, to either an ideal or to the general public

Geo always be trying to lay out how guys think but it's always far off. i.e.: when Bart states the male:female ratio conundrum when a female is in a space dominated by males based on circumstance, where the female is there fpr the same circumstance. It IS true, regardless if the percentages are growing to balance out, because as unfortunate as it may sound, the ratio is still uneven for thlse circumstances that involve male dominant activities, and it happens for most guys when they're put in that situation, and the average female becomes top of the chain, because the selection is lowered, because of mutual interests, and that male instincts to its lowest common denominator kick in (eg: Military like what Bart said, Bars where most people are male, Conventions involving hobbies, Gaming culture, School setting, etc.) I've seen it first hand on a Barbershop singing convention, so if that says something.

I'm pretty good looking, Id say top 20% of guys. Even though I'm average height, I have a good facial structure, eyes, hair and body. I don't have the best skin, so I always am attracted to girls with really nice skin. I'm smart, A student and Imaginative to boot, I'm interesting and can entertain girls by talking about my interests. But at the core, I am lazy, manipulative and a narcissist... the worst kind of person. So, when I have been dating for a few months, and look to see if my girl has any flaws like mine... she inevitably does not, I'm attracted to the Type A, cute "good girls" and they always turn out to be genuine angels instead of fake like part of me is hoping.
