I feel like it’s a big misconception that every parent feels this immediate almost magical bond with their baby as soon as it’s born but that doesn’t always happen and it’s normal if it doesn’t. Some people definitely feel that immediate bond and that is perfectly normal but not feeling that immediately and having the bond grow over time is also perfectly normal. Sometimes the expectation of having an immediate intense bond can make people feel guilty or like something is wrong but it’s totally normal and doesn’t mean you’ll be a bad parent
