Before my dad died we always had this dorky thing we did the night before Christmas. He was a night owl and I would always wake up in the middle of the night because I was always too excited to sleep 😂. I would go sneak downstairs and make us hot chocolate, grab pan dulce, and popcorn, and then bring them upstairs to his room and we would stay up watching Christmas movies together till I fell back asleep. As I got older we added face masks and 🍃 to the mix. It was my favorite tradition since it was our own little time together before the chaos of Christmas 😂.

Filipinos have this thing called the “BERs”, which is when Christmas begins - the months that end in BER. My mom tries not to put Christmas stuff up in September so people don’t judge her lol but she will start decorating little by little in October inside the house, trees are up for thanksgiving, outside decor can go up right after thanksgiving which is also when we can start playing Christmas music lol she’s got rules 😂😂

When we set up the tree and decorate, the ornaments we have are like memories of the generations. From older ornaments that my parents got when we were kids, to ornaments we made as kids, and in school. Gifted ornaments we received over the years from family and friends. And ones given and made from my son's childhood as well. Personalized ornaments too, with our names on them or depicting things each person liked to do throughout our lives. Edit: fav Christmas song is Kelly Clarkson singing Grown Up Christmas List.

Bart has been dealing with a lot lately; as was mentioned on his and Geo's podcast about a month ago; yet he was still trying to keep up moral for the good of the show. That is why after his father passed, he didn't tell the guys right away. He waited until they were done filming the next day, as to not bring down the mood of the group in the room during filming. It is his professionalism that makes that happen.
