When I was in 10th grade, I didnt go to school for 3 months straight. my mom would leave after me so I would pretend to go out and wait for the bus but I would be hiding behind the dumpster and waiting for my moms car to pass so I could go back home. after 3 months in a row of doing this, My principle called my mom and asked if I changed schools because I haven't been there for an entire quarter of the year. She came home early and caught me on the xbox knowing the past 3 months i've been skipping.

In Texas, attendance is as important to get credit for a class as much the grade. There excused and unexpected absences if you passed unexpected absences even if you have a 100 average in the class you could not get credit ,but they let you appel it . Excused absences would be if your sick for example and extra circular activities.

Aye Nick's school system was like mine. I'm guessing he also had to do the even odd say schedules as well cuz one day would be 2,4,6,8 periods then odds would be 1,3,5,7???

Exactly and those days would be called A days for one day of those classes and then the next day would be B day classes. Plus even for like study class but for ours it would be called advisory.

I had a friend that didn’t feel like going to school the last month of his senior year so he failed and had to take the GED. I think everyone is just old, I also had 8 periods like Nick

My body was breaking down and I saw tunnel vision started vomiting and shaking and my parents said walk it off turns out I had to get my gallbladder removed ASAP and I did and that same after my surgery I got shit for laying and being lazy so if that says anything about my childhood 🤷🏻‍♀️
