I've lived in NYC all my life and the prices are crazy here too I'm getting a house in PA which is like an hour and a half drive I'm actually getting a Victorian House and it's only 300,000. Moving out of the big city is so worth it, but the key is staying an hour away so you don't feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.

Victorian houses are HUGE inside. I'm from SF, love those places. There are some with little alleyway type areas next to them and you can walk thru and there is huge outdoor grass areas with little studio buildings in addition to the massive Victorian. Absolutely gorgeous.

I live in Las Vegas and the house I'm trying to get is $350k+, and that's considered a lot already. Compared to the rest of Las Vegas. $800k is insanely expensive. But surprisingly, 800k is still little for a mansion in Las Vegas, it goes more than 1mil around here. Prices for houses are skyrocketing because more people are moving in and there's more renovations for roads and old buildings.
