This episode is hilarious. 🤣 As a kid, it would be that my older sister and I shared a room, so she would wake me up in the early morning hours, and say, "shhh, it's Christmas" cuz our parents' bedroom was next to ours. We would sneak past our parents' room, down the hall to the living room, grab our stockings from in front of the tree, then run back to our room. We would close the door, and only then turn on the light, and proceed to dump out our stockings on our beds to see what we got. After ooh'ing and aahh'ing over everything, we would put everything back in the stockings and sneak them back out into the living room, thinking we were getting away with something. 😂 And we would always find an orange or an apple in the toe of the stocking to round out the bottom of the stocking. My favorite Christmas memory is watching my son go ape shit over his gifts, while having the same enthusiasm to help pass everyone else's out. One year, from different family members he got a bunch of incredible hulk items, hulk hands(from me), hulk underoos(grandparents) hulk shoes(uncle). I said, why don't you try on you hulk stuff. He darts into his room, walks out with everything on,including the hulk hands. Only think is he had tucked his shirt into his underwear(made him look like he had a beer gut) and had striped sock pulled up althe way to his knees and as he rounded the corner he started to flex and roar like he was the hulk. I don't think me and my brother have laughed that damn hard, thank Santa Steve(jesus is fake, show me the proof) we actually have this recorded. That was over 20yrs ago and we still laugh at the thought. It truly is the gift that keeps on giving, Clark.

Yea black peter (zwarte piet). Is in Dutch culture, they are like the servants of Sinterklaas the other version of Saint Nicholas. But in Dutch culture we have Sinterklaas and Santa for different holidays. But Black Pete used to look like a minstrel of black people. They would have brown/black facepaint, red lips, black curly hair and golden earrings. But that's not the intention of it anymore. Fun sidenote: people called me zwarte piet when i was little cause i was brown and had black curly hair

Yes, Black Pete is Dutch. The oldschool story is indeed that if you've been bad Black Pete puts you in a sack and takes you away. I was a kid in the 80's and that story was already outdated back then. Black Pete was funny and gave you candy. Then it suddenly someone decided it was racist and Black Pete was not allowed to be black anymore. Now they only got wipes of soot on their face instead of their whole face black.
