Grew up around a community center that had hundreds of games from the Sega genesis to the Xbox One. Pool tables, air hockey, ping pong, art class, theater room, kick ball, dodge ball, man hunt, snack time, gymnastics, and jujitsu. Road runner was the very first game I ever played there. Man it was a beautiful thing, I'd do it all over again

Dawg I remember when I was younger when Halo 3 dropped, the world shut down. Everyone called out sick from school, and went to go scoop that game up. Then the same thing happened for MW2 in 09. THEN Lan parties were LIIIIT.

My fondest childhood memory is my dad taking me to see the first Star Wars movie. It’s the first movie I can remember seeing from beginning to the end. Now it’s an emotional experience due to the fact my dad passed away back in 2020.

When I was a kid, every year in the first 2 weeks in August my family and I would go to Canada and stay in a rented cottage. There was a group of cottages to rent and a bunch of my dad's co-workers would also come up and bring their families as well. There were no phones. We would swim in the lake, walk the trails, play cards, go fishing, people played volleyball during the day. There were cookouts. And we would sit around the campfire at night sharing stories and snacks. Sometimes we would all bring the picnic tables together at the top of the hill by one of the main cottages and have a group potluck dinner where everyone brought a dish to pass and share among the group.

Keep the ones that are close and that go out of their way for you, even a little. And keep an eye open to find the ones who are using you, because in your 20’s you still have college and are fresh out of school so you have a lot of contacts that you will inevitably lose very soon. If you dont find people who you can 100% trust and lean on than before long youll realize how lonely and cold the world is when you inevitably lose the ones who had unconditional love for you in your family then dont have anybody to clear your mind and talk with.. theres a period of work, home, work, home that will only ever get interrupted with a random bar or movie you go see which is depressing as hell going and leaving alone back to your grind for yourself..

You guys ever play Daytona USA..!?!? Oh my goodness, the dick measuring contest was there as well.. Smoking j's and going in right away to play..! haha. That was more teenage years though.. Lethal Enforcers and Terminator 2 were also good. For me, all of my fondest memories were with the one cousin I was closest with and it was always hanging out, playing video games and ordering pizza late at night.. Him coming over to sleep over in the summer time.. Not a worry in the world.. =) How times change. Going to the mall or going to the park or school with a couple of bats and balls..

Not sure about the turtles other than a pet shop perhaps, yet the goldfish in a plastic bag reminds me of what we would win when playing a carnival game where you had to throw a ping pong ball into a small fish bowl.

Fondest childhood memories are road trips but not for me for the parents because they loved gambling so we drove from the sgv to the vegas border and vegas itself almost every weekend. I remember my dad winning all these stuffed animals playing the arcades at circus circus which we ended up donating. I even met convicted child killer jeremy strohmeyer. Fun times.
