I think what jason is saying is that he prefers a deep, genuine connection but is constantly wondering if this is/could become, the real thing hes searching for. & its probably due to the fact that he hasn't experienced it many times in his life. its almost like if you have a hard time accepting love bc u dont even know if it is real love ur getting.

I have been bedridden for 6 years with Guillan Barre. After I got sick everyone started to disappear. Now all I really have around me is family. It's a very intense loneliness, like Ryan described. Everyone disappearing kind of confirmed what I thought. That I've always been an outcast with a day pass with the cool kids. I really relate with Jason in this episode.

I really enjoyed this episode. It was very relatable and sometimes I wish I was there in real time to contribute to the convo haha. It was nice to hear you guys talk about “deeper” topics. It would be nice to hear more about stuff like this/mental health topics. Somehow I feel closer to them because I got to see a bit more of their personality and how they think (especially Jason).
