Finally picked these up. Definitely think Virgil did the damn thing with this pair, irregardless of hype. My main problem with 5’s before was the bulky toeboxes and overall chunkiness. This shoe took care of all of that & made it much sleeker (like the 2020 fire reds).

So, a few months on, how are these wearing? I'm thinking about picking up a pair, but I worry about all the exposed foam and whether it would lead to them prematurely wearing out. My only hope is that because nylon is so strong, it would increase the durability. I also have concerns with cutting out the holes, hopefully doing so doesn't lead to rips over time Also, I think it's hilarious that a literally unfinished pair of yellowed shoes are going for $800 but, you're paying for the originality obviously

daniel ifeta depends if you don’t like them at all you could sell them now for around 800-950 depending on the Size, but I kinda feel like if you sit on this shoe for couple years this could be one that gonna be worth couple thousand in the future. I coped for the personal collection but if you you got em just for the purpose of making some money I’d sell them now while people who missed out are spending

It gives off a construction/industrial look and the yellow socks makes it look way better than it actually is, especially from the side view. The front/ top down view your eye just sort of gravitates to the hole in the tongue which I don’t like. I like better than when I first saw it but I’d much rather have other ow shoes

Since you’re Canadian you got them from the Jordan store Downtown right (306 Yonge)? I really wish I had gotten those. I called the store 40+ times during the week to confirm all the details/release procedures and they told me “you can legally line up Friday night 9pm” and a few other details. Then Friday at 1am in the middle of the night @footlockercanada posted that “due to bad weather” they postponed the drop to right now AT 1AM. I was given no heads up about this even though I had just called in a few hours prior to confirm release procedures hadn’t changed, and they told me everything was the same and I should line up Friday at 9pm. I wake up Friday morning check my social media only to realize the shoe drop had already happened with no prior heads up given to me. I began crying because I really wanted my first pair of Off Whites and was willing to line up 12+ hrs in the cold -15° weather for them, I didn’t even have a chance. In a raffle you atleast have a chance, here I was hopeless cuz they announced it while I was sleeping, even if I got in my car to go downtown it’s a 2hr drive so I wouldn’t have copped anyway. Not only that but the Jordan store employees told lots of their friends that the release was gonna get postponed to 1am, but when I called in they didn’t mention a thing about this change, hence why 150+ ppl were already in front of the store at 1am. So now I’m stuck with 2 lawn chairs, a canopy for my lawn chairs (to protect from weather) a propane powered heater (to protect from -15 temperature), 2 propane tanks gto power the heater), upgraded to a infinite data plan so I wouldn’t be bored all night, bought 6 portable chargers, and lastly got a huge duffle bag to hold the pairs so nobody would know I have them and try to rob me. I don’t know how to feel except betrayed, that a massive corporation like Foot Locker and 1 of 5 Jordan stores worldwide could do this to their customers. Regardless, congratulations that you were able to have the privilege of reviewing these gems. Keep up the awesome work bro. -A fellow Canadian

I like them, but honestly, I didn't even give it a try. We don't have the SNKRS App here in Switzerland, so it was kind of a lost cause. There are other drops coming (Jordan Air Max 200 x PSG & Reebok x Tom & Jerry) that I definitely like more. But great review, and looks great with yellow socks!
