Ok, so I have a story about Dagashi Kashi. Dagashi Kashi is the reason I don't talk about anime with my dad. So what happened was I was watching Dagashi Kashi on my living room TV, then my dad walks in. I'm thinking "no big deal, he'll just grab something from the kitchen and leave". No, he looks in the kitchen but instead of leaving he sits right next to me. Now I wouldn't have minded this and would have explained the plot, if it weren't for the episode I was watching. It was the episode where they tied up Hotaru and blindfolded her so she can guess what dagashi she was eating. Before it came up, I told my dad if he wanted to change the channel, he said it was alright. I asked again and he said no again. Then they it came to the part where they tied her up. He said, " Oh, so this is why you wanted to change it". He got up and left. I have never talked to him about anime since that day about 3 years ago

Never forget the day the Macy's Day Parade Rick rolled the audience. I read the Dick Fight Island and the best way I can describe it as basically a Soul Calibur of dick fights. The protagonist is coming back home from Japan to settle a score on his home island (? I think that was his reason as he left the island??), which is a relic of a bygone era. The participants are from tribes vying for power and the chance to be the ruler of all the clans. They compete in a ritual that's held every so often that only the men can compete in. You wouldn't expect there to be some serious lore in such a book, but there's some interesting worldbuilding for the tribes! But no lie..those codpieces look like they would do massive damage. There's a reason why they look like that. And if you like your older men, you're in for a real treat. They got some men looking like Revolver Ocelot and they're not half bad on the eyes. But keep in mind, this is coming from a degenerate who likes the older men and women...so take that with a grain of salt. 🤣

@@daisyjoy242 It's pretty fun, they take pictures with tourists all day so it's a nice bit of fanservice. I was also exaggerating a bit, only 2 of the girls actually wear US flag bikinis like the picture, the other 4 only wear a thong and paint their boobs with body paint in patriotic colors (back in the day that was it, but now they cover their nipples with pasties too, kind of a buzz kill)

I also don't know the lore or story surrounding the franchise, but I think she's doing what she does to either save her child or for revenge against her child? I know next to nothing about that franchise outside of it's owned by Sega, and wouldn't have a 2nd let alone 3rd game is Nintendo wasn't pulling on their arms because all they seem to care about is Sonic. Maybe if in the mood Katamari, Monkey Ball, or Puyo Puyo lol.
