Milt’s Mile is a “7 difficulty” rated trail. It is located near the fenceline trail that parallels SR-7. It starts about 1 minute from the “tunnel” that comes from the staging area inside the state park.
There is a Milt’s Mile Lite, which is a 4 difficulty and follows the same general trail, avoiding all major obstacles. The trail is about 1.6 miles long, not 1 mile like you would assume.
A good UHMW skid plate is a great thing to have for this trail, to protect your machine from damage, and also help you glide over the rocks easier. You can do the trail with stock size tires, but the bigger, the better.
The main notable obstacles on this trail are:
“The Monkeys”
“Hard Right Turn”
“Hard Left Turn”
