Excellent news. I only hope that ME patients can complete a test such as this one. Many could not. Others could perhaps but only at the risk of severe PEM/PESE. Many may choose not to risk it.

So glad you warned of the potential risk of the 2day CPET causing extended PENE. Maybe even being ore explicit would be important - and include that a one day, let alone 2day, should not be administered to someone with severe ME, and people with lower moderate ME should consider carefully as it may cause a permanent reduction in severity.

I have asked a number of times for a CPET test and have been unable to get one. I hope now that I am in one of the studies at BHC that upon completion that I can get one for solid proof of diagnosis.

Is it possible for you to go as far in your education series, (for those not capable of safely completing CPET, eg anyone with ME due to PENE/PEM), to suggest the 15bpm above rhr as a measure of AT for pacing within energy budget, as suggested by professor Dane Cook ?
