ATO - Thanks for all the videos! I am glad I found your channel and that you are making multiple videos on one subject. I have been hesitant on buying this RTT but then found your videos and have purchased the Raptor RTT in the video. The custom square rack video you made for under the Raptor RTT was also helpful. Keep it up good buddy!

Hey Nick! Glad to hear that they're helpful! I really do like this tent and for half to a quarter of what a lot of others cost, it's such a great value that I think will get me through hears before needing to upgrade. If you ever have any questions, just post up in the comments! Happy to help!

Thank for making the video. We have the same RTT. We bought it a few months ago and finally put it on today. The cover wasn't to bad since I have two of my boys put it on.

Good video... I ended up getting a killer deal on a mombasa with a annex $2500 value they wanted $800 and I offered $700 and they took it. They only used it 5 times

That's awesome! Used is often the best way to get stuff. I had been watching Facebook Marketplace for a few months for Smittybilts or similar, but couldn't find anything and also had reservations about the setup time so I ended up with this one. I'm really happy with it, but I'm always down with saving money, :D.

What pants are those that you are wearing in the video? Great video!

Hey Mike, I got them on Amazon. I've got a couple of pairs and they're pretty nice! Here's a link: amzn.to/2oGUHfg

Yes I know it’s winter and cold but did you ever use a fan in the tent to circulate the air to keep condensation out?
@AllThingsOverlanding3 жыл бұрын
I just pop open the screens on both sides about an inch to let air flow through and haven’t had much trouble with condensation.

Nice video. I am about to buy this tent. How is your tent holding.

Thanks! It’s doing great. I’m out camping now and using it again tonight. I made a 4 month update video where I talked through what I’d learned and what I thought after about 20 nights in it. Hopefully it’s helpful! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qonIloupZt-pbq8

Diesel heaters are kinda the best option for heating during the winter, since its dry heat...and it can be had for about 200usd.

Yeah, I'm quickly realizing my mistake with the Mr. Buddy heater. I'm sure there'll be a video coming sometime for the diesel heater build, :D.

I was looking into this tent but I hate putting the cover on. I would just save and buy a hard shell instead
@AllThingsOverlanding4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I'm with you a bit there. I camped last night in about 20 degree weather and putting the cover on was a bit of a pain this morning. It's really just weighing out the pros and cons. I'd love to have a hard shell tent, but for 2 to 2.5 times the cost (at least), it just didn't make sense for me at the time. Aside from the cover being a pain, I love everything else about the tent so I'll use it for a few years and then hopefully upgrade at some point to a hard shell. Thanks for the comment!

I just can't get over that ridiculous cover. Smittybilt may have poles to set but that takes 1 minute. Their cover zips up much faster than this roof condom.
@AllThingsOverlanding4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the cover is the worst part of this tent. However, total time, the setup of the tent over the smittybilt plus the convenience of the setup and tear down is still superior in my opinion. They’re about the same price so it kind of comes down to personal preference.
