When I was a kid back in the 50's in the USA if you could find Maytag washing machine gas motor, that was the perfect motor with a kick start that was the way they was started. They was I think one horsepower and would just require a simple lever to control the tension on the belt's pully system. It was a lot of fun and the motor was very efficient with gas.
