Office-based Buprenorphine Treatment for OUD

This drug saved my life. Under a proper prescription from a doctor and outside therapy or groups such as NA it works! The problem is it is hard to get legally. If more available we could put a big dent in drug addiction. Drug addicts are not happy and just need a safe and CONSISTENT alternative. I'm hearing that it is hard to find doctors who can prescribe it. I got lucky and found an attentive doctor. This medication should be so much more available.

If you just take your Bup properly and dont use you will settle down to normality after 5 days(yes 5 days), thats how long they take to fully stop withdrawals, they dont seem to work well at first but have faith, they DO eventually work brilliantly. as good as methadone i would say from experience but induction is very tough as you rattle at first, horrible but well worth it in long run and can save your life,

There should be more meds approved for opioid discontinuation, not just Buprenorphine and Methadone.

I need this medication to help with my opioid addiction & if you saying 5 days of use is all it takes stop my withdrawals & opioid problem then i need this ASAP! I want to be normal again

pain control after surgery I maintain the level of their might be ten , in hospital try get the pain down two. Such as PCA pump with Morphine or Demerol with a lockout I'm four hour. then the nurse Oxycodone, Vicodin, which is every four to six hours. Fentanyl lower dose was 25 than be remove.

The real problem is the government aren't doctors and shouldn't cast laws that are in direct contradiction to Actual Doctor s that go to school for years then residents verses DEA who shows up looking for job!

It's the PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY AS WELL cause they really PUSH THE PRODUCTS I'VE SEEN THEM IN ACTION ITS CRAZY ..Like they would make an appointment with a doctors office bring a whole bunch of medications and just pitch the PRODUCTS and NOT EXPLAIN THE WHOLE FINE LINE TO THE T THE TINY TINY TINY LITTLE LITTLE LETTERS..

The DEA got involved when the GOVERNMENT made enough money to make them RISH and LIVING HAPPY while US PEOPLE BUST OUR BUTTS TO MAKE ENOUGH TO PAY FOR RENT ELECTRIC WATER POWER PHONE'S ETC. THEN WE BROKE TILL NEXT PAY DAY..

Buprenorphine threw me into a craving-obsessed depression like I never experienced before. Completely useless. Life was so much better on smack.

HONESTLY if it didn't WORK for YOU that means you have a HIGH tolerance and that's not yiur FAULT AT ALL I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND.. Don't let anyone tell YOU anything different seriously but to me it WORKS if you want it to WORK when you're ready to be CLEAN and SOBER it's you're choice everyone LIVES ONCE I'm not saying to SMACK ALL UR LIFE but DON'T GIVE UP TRYING DIFFERENT THING'S to STOP DOING SMACK WHEN YOUR READY I say that cause you can have a million ppl yelling screaming shouting telling you in your ear but you're not LISTENING cause you're not making that CHOICE FOR YOURSELF..So DON'T GIVE UP TRY OTHER THING'S DO IT WHEN YOU READY AND TRUST YOU WILL KNOW WHEN IT'S THAT TIME TO STOP DOIMG SMACK.. I assure you your life is not better on smack. Rethink the mess smack has put you in. Buprenorphine may not help you but try other ways.
