Every. Single. Song. 👏🏽 Tell Him is my favorite. I remember being a teenager in deep depression and my mom ordered this CD from the magazine and I cried and cried. These men are hilarious trying to figure this out. But hey, it’ll be like this years to come bc her message was Go’s spoken. It’ll always be relevant

In my opinion Lauryn is one of the greatest and this is one of the greatest albums of all time. It was released in 1998 and she took a lengthy hiatus shortly after this. The entire Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is definitely worth a listen to as it has influenced many many albums, songs, and artists that followed. I would start with Do Wop and everything is everything. Solid reaction 👌

Lauryn is a musical genius. The logistics of the music industry, spirituality struggles, and tax issues over the years kind of took a toll on her and naturally it affected her career. We (ESPECIALLY black community) hated to see her go through such things and no one seemed to wanna help. Unfortunately this happens to Black women WAY more than any other group, and it sucks. No one can take away her 6 Grammy’s in one night record, including album of the year at the ‘99 Grammy’s, and record sales though! I love you Lauryn Hill! ❤️
@aj59884 жыл бұрын
It was 5 Grammys in one night. Beyoncé and Adele are the only female artists to win 6 Grammys in one night. But I agree Lauryn deserved better, she just didn't want to play the industry's corrupt game and as a result so many turned on her. I often wonder what music we could have been given had it never affected her career the way it did. Such incredible talent silenced.
@bsturgis154 жыл бұрын
