This sketch happened when Jordan and Keegan were talking about fantasy football on set. The player D'Brickanshaw Ferguson came up. Jordan could not believe someone was named D'Brickanshaw. So he went home and wrote this sketch that night.

That white dude at the end was great because he was from BYU. It's mainly a white university in Utah and founded by the Morman Church (BYU = Brigham Young University). Plus name is Smith, as in Joseph Smith, an early leader of the church.

You haven't all seen "Get Out"? Jordan Peele won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, and it was nominated for Picture, Director and Actor. With that, Peele is actually the first African American to win the Original Screenplay Oscar and also the first to be nominated for producing, directing and writing in the same year. I personally like "Us" due to its perspective ("Get Out" is universal and about racism, "Us" is a statement of how we live as Americans, I think) as well as Lupita Nyong'o. "Get Out" is more psychological horror while "Us" is more of a thriller, but both are a genre that Peele kind of created, a social thriller.
