You are trying to make the uk police service look as incompetent and vicious as american police. this is just wrong, and must stop. The uk police SERVICE is better trained, they are in the classroom for 18 months, assessed weekly and monthly. After their classroom training they accompany an officer on the beat for a further 12 months, and they are assessed monthly. If they fail an assessment when they are on the beat, they are returned to the classroom, and if they fail any part of this second classroom based training they are removed from the police service. In the uk there is GDPR law which makes recording in.public without the permission of those being recorded illegal. I hope this cameraman is rotting in jail just now.

@@stevenreilly697 No, you need permission of those who are being recorded. We dont live in america where there is no assumption of privacy in a public place. You are able to record in public in the uk, but you.must get permission of those if you want to publish the recording. If anyone you record objects, you MUST stop and make sure you do not record them. That is GDPR.

Inspector Lane 2774 was reasonably professional and polite but some of the questions he asked the guy did not serve any logical purpose whatsoever. The senior officer went on a mini fishing expedition to see what generalised information he could obtain from the man by way of the consensual conversation, none of which had anything to do with him; he was just being nosy for the sheet sake of it. I've got some doubts as to why this armed to the teeth firearms officer was called out to what I could make out appeared to be just a routine traffic stop, unless there had been an emergency call that came in and the information given made this incident more serious than depicted in the video. Once again we see an officer trying to escalate a situation by turning a swear word used in a comment, which was not abusive and threatening into something more than it actually was, but this is how petty the police have become in this day and age, they'll arrest anyone if that opportunity presents itself, and a lot of the time it's usually legally unjustified. It really winds me up when I hear a police officer say they don't want to arrest a person, trying to make it sound like they actually care and appealing to your best interests, they're hypocritical liars. If this ARO did arrest that guy for a Public Order offence, it's no skin off of his nose, the officer would just be saying to himself: "I'm just doing my job and making more money for the state, my conscience is clean and it's you that will be heavily inconvenienced from spending hours in a custody cell, interviewed and then have to attend court to try and clear your name, as well as potentially receiving a criminal record if found guilty by the judge and be financially crippled with all the legal fees/fines and solicitor costs."

Clear as day to me, the officer is used to people complying with him, most people have nothing to hide and are happy to comply, they think they are helping, a growing number of people are fed up with the police, they can see through their tactics, most of this is courtesy of youtube, we get to see that the police aren't the publics friends, the police have a strange mentality of expectation, compliance, their training isn't great, they aren't the brightest bunch, it's time the police had a far more stringent recruitment policy, current policing in the UK is poor, its poor for a couple of reasons, the required criteria is far too low and the level of policing is also a result of 'scraping the barrel' regarding recruitment. Just my opinion. I have been arrested for assault on a police officer, handcuffed and tossed in back of the car, taken to jail until court the next morning and fined equivalent to a full week's rent for saying....Wait for it.....''I'm bloody sick of police harrasement'' To add insult to injury the duty solicitor didn't say a word in my defence either.

@@megataurus7779 A duty solicitor is for advice at the cop shop. They rarely represent anyone at court. If a solicitor fails to be professional there's a complaints procedure.I think the original comment was BS.

@davidhooper1767 here in Australia we are represented by a duty solicitor if we have to go to court. You may well believe the comment is bs that's your choice but our system here is insane at best.

The tactic was to block the camera. While he is blocking the camera and engaging with the journalist his buddies could be doing anything they want. That is why you don’t let them do that. Keep moving and force them to illegally detain you.

If Plod believe that you are a witness to an offence, they can demand your name and address. That's name and address only. Failure to provide a name and address as a witness is an arrestable offence.

1. Regulations state you must inform about filming 2. Following the regulations is section 5 of the police code of ethics 3. As of last year, following the police code of ethics has been adopted into law. 4. The inspector is breaking the law.

Freedom to photograph and film "Members of the public and the media do not need a permit to film or photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them filming or photographing incidents or police personnel." Section 26 Criminal Courts and Justice Act (police abusing powers) Misfeasance in Public Office (action taken by a public officer where they have knowingly misused or abused their power or authority and willingly acted to cause harm to an individual or group.) Domestic Terrorism (Police using/threatening to use arrest/detention to enforce their versions of law that violate rights and abuse actual law) MEMORISE THESE, as these are your best tools when dealing with arrogant tyrants that think they have absolute authority over those they are supposed to serve.

Firstly the officer is right to enquire if he witness the incident, but was inform that it was not witnessed by the auditor end of questioning an should of left it had that, but the officer pushed and totally overstepped his authority and needs to be pulled in and suspended from public facing duties until his is investigated about his action and put in front of a misconduct hearing board.
