What has to be realized is those people who assaulted and wounded Capital police officers on 6 January, 2020, may be going back home, but the village, town or city or foreign country they are going back to have Police who know who they are and local law enforcement will never let them out of their sight. Policemen and policewomen risk their lives every time they go on a shift. They often work a new shift every time they go back to work from having a day or two off. Some only see their families on weekends every six weeks. It is appalling that we have seen on TV one policeman tased over and over again until he suffered a heart attack and now that guy that did that is back on the streets. A secessionist is back on the streets. Criminals who should have done their time are back on the streets. What on earth is going on that an American President has done this? President Trump has made a terrible, terrible travesty of justice that will haunt his entire tenure in office. Trump himself is an adjudicated insurrectionist and has undoubtedly called the rioters 'hostages' and freed them all to ease his conscience.
