Someone please check my logic on this, but since Mason was shot, Woods crippled and Hudson killed by Menendez in 1989, that should mean we won't see them in any sort of combat role within the campaign (unless they show where Mason was between 1989 and 2025).

my guess is, that it has to be somewhere between the 80's and 90's since the BO2 story line, spans around 1986 (and obviously 2025, but thats irrelevant right now) and so forth. and cold war is at the beginning of the 80's(1981), so BO6/GW has to be in between those years, for the timeline to somewhat make sense i guess

This has nothing to do with the video as it isn’t connected to the BO4/BO2 zombies storyline. Even though it’s in Cold War, that zombies story officially ended in BO4 meaning it isn’t connected anymore as that story is no longer relevant to the game now.
