Nice review for both Revo's. I had a question. I have read that the 1GD-ftv engine produces (for AT) 450 Nm of torque, whereas in the case of MT, the engine delivers 420 Nm. For the car you are reviewing, which has auto trans, you comment that the output is 420 Nm. Is is like that? Thank you very much for the info.

Never go for 1kd or 1Gd. You will have to bear an expense of nozzles in 1kd and Gd after every 30k kms

i have used the 2KD and the 2GD on hilux, the main diferent is the feeling when you drive, the 2KD feels more powerfull but slower thant the 2GD, about fuel eficcient both are the same (950Km mix drive using always AC). the 2GD is quieter and faster.

The new diesel Revo comes with new 1GD engine. My question is if it has the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) installed? The 1GD engine with DPF is internationally reported to have problems in terms of filter failure followed by high cost replacement. The report is specially significant with the 1GD engine such as revo and even fortuner. I couldn't find any information on IMC website regarding DPF installed in revo or fortuner. Your insight and research would definitely help a lot of potential buyers. Thanks in advance.

In my country, even Toyota Revo 2016 start with 1GD engine. I never knew revo comes with 3.0 engine.

What is the difference between Hilux E and Hilux G 2018 pakistani?

Hilux E is the most basic strip down variant however G is an entry level Revo with few powered options but nothing fancy like DRL, Leather etc

Yes this car was launched in 2015 with 2.8 liter engine the one shown in the videos you shared it was offered with 3.0 engine in 2017 and now in 2018 they have upgraded the car with more things as per the video
